Default The Walking Dead Season 2

We're about a week away from the second season of The Walking Dead.

I have to say that the first season ended up being a little bit disappointing. It got off to an incredible start, but then there were just too many useless, boring, overall shitty characters. At the end of season 1 a few of them got blowed up/eated, so I guess that's good, but I'm really hoping things pick up in season 2.

Shows like this require a lot of disposable characters.

    I'm looking forward to it.

Like Breaking Bad, this is another show I've been wanting to get into.

This is pretty easy to get into as the first season was only 6 episodes. You could likely catch up quickly, in time to see the first episode of season 2.

Ah, I didn't know that. I'll probably focus on getting caught up on that before Breaking Bad then. Hopefully I can actually watch The Walking Dead while eating.

Disposable characters are fine, but shitty, boring characters who are integrated into the main story plot and stick around for five episodes, serving absolutely no purpose but to blow themselves up at the self-destructing CDC? No thanks.

I feel like the only reason I'm watching this is because I followed it from the premier. I don't necessarily hate it...but if I came in after a few seasons I probably wouldn't bother.

"I met a scientist at the CDC...he said to me...meh, it doesn't really matter." THE FUCK, YO?

Just finished the first season. I really enjoyed it, but it seemed kind of... pointless. I mean, the writers probably made it feel that way because that's exactly how the characters feel. So the CDC is shot, there's no sign of civilization anywhere... wtf happens now?

When I first saw you guys talking about "disposable characters" (I was scrolling quickly to avoid spoilers), I actually thought that they all died in the end. It would have been pretty interesting if each season focused on a different group of individuals in a different area of the world.

This season has been so unbelievably stupid that I don't even know where to start.

"Hey guys, there's this walker down in the well we don't even use here. Sounds like a problem to me! What happens if the four other wells go dry? I have an idea! Let's lever Glenn off of a rusty pole and use him as human bait so we can drag the harmless walker out of there."

Piss poor writing and plot holes everywhere. This show sucks.

I just thought the well issue was dumb from the perspective of wanting to drink out of it after a clean zombo removal. Even with a flawless extraction, I would never drink from that well again, personally. Virtually every zombie has gushing open wounds from the initial infection--the water would obviously have been contaminated.

Even ignoring their stupid solution, it was pretty dumb in principle alone.

This is especially true considering the fact that when T-Dawg tried to drink the water, the old guy told him not to immediately.

I hate TV shows that insult my intelligence. Through that whole scene I just sat there like "What the fuck?"

Why do writers still do this shit? I mean, Game of Thrones was an amazing TV series because it simply followed the fucking books. HBO's GoT was 98% the same as the books, 2% new shit that we didn't really need but made the story flow better. Why can't they just do the same thing for The Walking Dead? Why do they have to take so many retarded detours?

Addenendum: the finale was also awesome. The finale and second to last episode were definitely the best of the season. A great lead into season three.

I also loved it when Dale died. He was just too annoying.

When this happens, exclaim what a disgusting mother fucker they are, laughing wildly while you do so! It's okay, the person has his pants around his ankles and pewp coming from his butthole. According to me season 2 is the best rather than 1 season. I like most the horror scenes most of this show. At the starting of this show i never miss any episode of this show.
