Originally posted by Zealotlee I am actually. When it comes out I plan to release all of my weapons in one package that I made for Fallout 3. The ACR requires the use of the Fallout Script Extender though due to the part-swapping feature so I don't know if I can fully implement that. And who knows, New Vegas might have some entirely new scripting functions that I get to play around with. I'm really looking forward to New Vegas though, a lot.
It's been awhile since I looked at the proposed feature list of FO:NV but I think I remember hearing about ammo types for various weapons. That should be fun to play around with.
I hope New Vegas isn't as buggy as Oblivion and FO3 at release. Bethesda seems to be fucking horrible at bug squashing.
Or at least that's the impression I get there needing to be several unofficial patches for each and every release of addons and expansions.
Technically Obsidian is developing it, but I'm a bit scared since they have a track record of making good games that are obviously unfinished. I mean they have the whole engine already done and a bunch of assets to re-use from the first game! We'll see how it turns out but I have high hopes.
I've also been working on a mod idea for implementing all the weapons I've made plus some by other people. It would involve like 3 quests or so (securing a stolen shipment and such) plus some other little bonuses. I'm still working on the details as I have plenty of time before New Vegas comes out to figure out where I really want to go with this idea.
